2019 National Conference will take place August 8-10 at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel in Baltimore, MD
Over 700 CAP members from across the nation are expected to attend. Whether you are a cadet or senior member be prepared for a weekend full of learning opportunities. This year 15 preconference sessions and over 50 learning labs are scheduled; some courses you can register now through Eventbrite include: FEMA ICS/EOC interface, Unit Fundraising 101, Recruiting & Retention Bootcamp, Training Leaders of Cadets (Basic, intermediate, advanced) and more.
The conference begins with a Spectacular opening reception, 2 days of networking and learning fun, followed by Annual awards and ending with a Banquet which is a mess dress affair that celebrates CAP accomplishments throughout the year.
2018 Conference was held in Anaheim, California. It was great to see many members gather from all over for this event that was full of information and great fun. During the Annual Awards Ceremony members were recognized for 50 years of Outstanding service, CAP Cadet & Senior member of the year and much more.
While in Baltimore, why not venture into the city and surrounding areas? There are great historical sites like Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine and the Historic Ships in Baltimore.
